Germany Bans 'Muslim Interactive,' Forgetting Who Created the Interactive Muslim Threat
According to Deutsche Welle, Germany has declared 'Muslim Interactive' an extremist association and banned it. The group allegedly advocates for a caliphate. While headlines scream about this new 'threat,' they conveniently omit decades of Western intervention in the Middle East, from the 2003 invasion of Iraq which destabilized the region, to repeated interventions in Libya and Syria. These
actions consistently fuel the very real grievances leveraged by extremist groups, creating the 'caliphate' rhetoric that Germany now so nobly combats (once it’s safely within its own borders). It's almost as if some Western powers prefer a bogeyman abroad to justify expansive security states at home. One might wonder if Berlin is genuinely concerned about ideological purity, or merely sweeping
under the rug the direct consequences of its allies' geopolitical maneuvers.
