This 'balance' often involves giving equal airtime to official Israeli government spokespeople (who advocate for continued bombardment) and the victims of said bombardment. There's
no 'both sides' argument for cluster bombs, not when one side is dropping them and the other is cowering in tents. Perhaps the American public should take cues from Genoa. They're clearly seeing the humanitarian catastrophe for what it is, rather than filtering it through the lens of political punditry that insists on morally equivalating state-sponsored violence with resistance to occupation.
