Meanwhile, the U.S. continues to greenlight weapons sales, like the precision-guided munitions (PGMs) in 2023 totaling $320 million, enabling the very destruction now lamented. So, when NGOs warn of another decade-plus of rebuilding, one might wonder: how many times does Gaza get completely obliterated before
it's no longer considered a 'crisis' but a deliberate policy outcome? Blaming Hamas for 'starting the war' (as France 24 does) while ignoring decades of siege and occupation is a framing masterpiece. It ensures that the 'constant state of crisis' isn't just surviving, but systematically created and upheld, one 'peace talks' photo op at a time.
