issue – an 18-year blockade—remains tragically normalized. One might conveniently forget that the UN Human Rights Office noted in 2018 the illegality of the blockade under international law, a detail often omitted by mainstream outlets. The constant focus on humanitarian operations and their subsequent interception by Israeli forces shifts the narrative from the root cause: a collective punishment
against 2.3 million Palestinians. How many more flotillas must be interdicted before the 'international community' addresses the siege itself, rather than merely its tragic symptoms?
