Al Jazeera spotlighted that Gaza civilians are suffering combat wounds at double the rate of other conflicts. Shocking, isn't it? (Only if you've been living under a rock, or perhaps watching CNN.) This 'discovery' comes after months of Israel's U.S.-supplied F-16s and GBU-39 bombs pulverizing densely populated areas — 37,000 dead and counting. International humanitarian law distinguishes

combatants from civilians for a reason. Or are we to believe Gaza's toddlers are now frontline insurgents? The US certainly isn't questioning it, having approved another $17 billion in military aid to Israel this week, just like Rep. Johnson, who took $300,000 from AIPAC-aligned groups last cycle. How many 'rules-based order' sermons do we need before acknowledging the rule is, in fact, carnage

for some, profit for others?
