Yet, their outrage conveniently overlooks the fact that the U.S. government maintains multi-billion dollar arms deals with nations known for egregious human rights abuses, like Saudi Arabia (selling $20 billion in arms in

2023, per State Dept. reports, despite the Yemen war). Or perhaps Fox has forgotten about the two permanent members of the Security Council—China and the USA—whose human rights records are constantly under scrutiny, but only one ever gets the 'uproar' treatment. It appears selective indignation is the new global standard. One might wonder if the 'shame' only applies when the U.S. isn't pulling the

strings, or when the offending nations haven't purchased enough F-35s. How many human rights violations does a country have to commit before it's deemed 'shameful' by Fox News, if they're also a critical geopolitical partner?
