Fox News Discovers Censorship When It's *Their* Access
Mainstream media, from Fox to CNN, are recoiling in horror as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth prepares to evict reporters from the Pentagon for refusing new rules that would greenlight all reporting. This, apparently, 'threatens core journalistic protections.' (One America News Network, naturally, remains compliant.) One might wonder where this impassioned defense of 'core journalistic protections'
was when the Pentagon was actively restricting access to Gaza, or when the Israeli military systematically targets journalists (over 100 killed since October 7, 2023, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists). It seems 'unprecedented' censorship is only an issue when it impacts access to the air-conditioned halls of power, not the pulverized streets of an occupied territory. Hegseth, a
former Fox personality, clearly learned a thing or two about narrative control.
