FBI Dismantles 'Corruption': Just Not the Right Kind

FBI Director Kash Patel (a Trump appointee-in-waiting, apparently) announced the shutdown of CR-15, an anti-corruption group, after Fox News revealed they monitored GOP senators during the Jack Smith investigation. Patel declared 'accountability' was served. One might wonder if 'accountability' now means shutting down internal watchdogs when they sniff out inconvenient truths about powerful

politicians. We consistently see official 'corruption' investigations fizzle out when they get too close to the nexus of power and corporate money. Meanwhile, AIPAC and other lobbying groups pour millions into campaigns (for example, Rep. Brian Mast took a cool $400,000+ from pro-Israel groups in 2022 and then consistently voted for unqualified aid to Israel), shaping policy with absolute

impunity. Apparently, monitoring legislators for trying to overturn an election is 'weaponizing law enforcement,' but legally buying influence is just 'democracy.'
