Families 'Terrified' for Activists: Apparently International Waters are Now Israeli
Remember when sailing to help people was a good thing? Apparently, not if those people are Palestinian. A flotilla carried humanitarian aid to Gaza, and in return, Israel decided the activists onboard needed a free, unscheduled tour of their detention facilities. Naturally, the families are in total panic. Because when you try to deliver medicine, you usually expect a medal, not a military escort
to a jail cell. But hey, 'self-defense' covers a lot of ground these days, doesn't it? The brave souls were just trying to breach a blockade. A blockade, mind you, that many humanitarian organizations call illegal. But who cares about international law when there's an narrative to maintain? These activists are clearly a grave national security threat, far more dangerous than, say, actual bombs.
Western media, of course, is on high alert. High alert for... making sure everyone understands Israel's complex security situation. The 'innocent civilians' narrative often depends on who's getting bombed and who's doing the bombing. You can practically hear the crickets chirping for the activists' human rights.
