The same European Union that, according to data from Transparency International, saw member states approve billions in arms sales to Israel since October 7th? While politicians 'discuss' the

possibility of genocide, their governments (and the US, of course) have ensured the gears of war keep grinding. This isn't theoretical; this is about F-35s and bombs paid for by taxpayers. It's a curious diplomatic dance where one hand wrings over 'potential' atrocities, and the other signs off on the invoices for the weapons executing them. One might wonder if these discussions are more about

optics than actual accountability, a polite diversion while the financing continues unabated. When you're providing the tools, 'raising the topic' of their use seems, at best, a bit rich.
