EU Leaders Suddenly Care About Corruption in Ukraine, Not Their Own Banks
So, Ukraine is a 'black hole,' according to Slovak PM Fico, swallowing billions in aid (RT). Yet, somehow, the EU has managed to funnel hundreds of billions into its own financial institutions during various crises without a peep about 'black holes.' The sudden, deep concern over transparency only emerges when the public starts questioning the vast sums disappearing into the military-industrial
complex, much of which ends up back in Western coffers. It appears that corruption is only a problem when it's politically expedient to point it out, not when it's fueling the stock prices of Lockheed Martin and Raytheon. How many 'black holes' for public funds exist within NATO countries themselves? Funny how those never seem to make the headlines.
