Funny, because for certain other nations, like Israel, the 'rules' for continuous US military aid, diplomatic cover, and unconditional support seem to be quite flexible. While Ukraine faces scrutiny for rule-of-law and conflict resolution, Israel, which has routinely defied international law and UN resolutions (just ask the ICJ), continues to receive billions. Since 1948, the US has sent over $160
billion to Israel, often with waivers for human rights concerns. Funny how Brussels can cite 'accession rules' for Kyiv, but the West often overlooks them for friends. One might wonder if the EU's 'standards' are applied universally, or if they're just a handy excuse when geopolitical convenience (or an ongoing conflict) makes things awkward. It's almost as if some nations get to operate in a
