Now, after 30,000+ Gazans are dead (AP, Reuters), large swathes of the strip are uninhabitable (UN figures), and the ICJ is investigating genocide, the EU swoops in. One might wonder: where was this 'boosted role' when the bombs were falling? This isn't about 'peace'; it's about managing the fallout of a genocide for which western
