It’s almost as if the 'Deep State' is an acceptable enemy, but certain deep-pocketed figures, regardless of their alleged
proximity to disturbing allegations, are off-limits for sustained scrutiny. One might recall similar selective outrage during other politically inconvenient disclosures, suggesting a rather flexible definition of journalistic integrity when it comes to their own side. The media's own past selective coverage of Epstein's associates (or lack thereof) also raises questions. Suddenly, the focus shifts
to who isn't talking, rather than who knew what, when, and why certain figures continue to enjoy mainstream rehabilitation despite their clear connections. It appears journalistic curiosity, like political conviction, can be highly situational.
