Yet the 'big picture' they miss—or deliberately omit—is the systematic
failure across multiple administrations, including the DOJ and FBI, to prosecute a known sex trafficker for decades, regardless of his powerful friends. Many victims, not just Trump, implicate a network of influential figures whose names remain conveniently shielded. While Trump involvement is certainly news, isn't the real story the systemic rot that allowed Epstein to operate with impunity for
so long, and the continuing opacity around the full extent of his network? The DOJ can label claims 'sensationalist,' but their own 'arduous process' of releasing heavily redacted files suggests the true scandal might be what they're still protecting.
