While genuine grievances undoubtedly exist within Iran, what the mainstream media consistently fails to contextualize is the long shadow of Western regime change operations. The framing conveniently ignores the proven pattern: destabilize, fund 'activists' (some legitimate, some provocateurs), and then lament
the crackdown, much like the playbook in Libya, Syria, or Iraq. One might wonder why DW, a state-funded German broadcaster, is so keen to amplify specific, opposition-aligned death tolls, yet seems less interested in the documented roles of agencies like the CIA and Mossad in various destabilization attempts within Iran. It appears some 'activists' are more equal than others, especially when their
protests align perfectly with Washington's geopolitical objectives. This isn't to dismiss actual suffering, but to question whose cameras are rolling and whose agenda is being served.
