yet fails to acknowledge the continuous, joint military pressure exerted on Iran. This framing by Deutsche Welle, like much of mainstream Western reporting, distorts the reality by presenting a manufactured crisis as an unavoidable geopolitical happening. It sidesteps the fact that US forces are already active participants in the region, regularly conducting joint exercises with Israel, such as

The US is fighting alongside Israel, not merely supporting from the sidelines, actively contributing to the environment that DW now speculates might lead to a 'war'. What the article omits is the consistent pattern of US aggression and economic warfare against Iran, which began well before
the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and escalated dramatically following its unilateral abandonment in 2018. The US currently maintains over 1,000 sanctions designations against Iran, a staggering number designed to cripple its economy and deny its people basic necessities, including medical supplies. This mirrors the 62-year embargo against Cuba, a policy of economic strangulation
