Democrats Suddenly Oppose US Gun Exports – From Trump
The Hill highlighted Democratic dismay that Donald Trump's administration is unwinding a Biden-era measure that restricted gun exports by returning oversight to the Commerce Department from the State Department. House Foreign Affairs Committee ranking member Gregory Meeks (D-NY) and Senator Ben Cardin (D-MD) cited human rights concerns. (One might wonder where those concerns vanish when Lockheed

These same 'human rights' champions, however, have historically stood silent, or even outright supported, the Biden administration's continued arms sales to regimes with far more documented human rights abuses, including vast quantities of advanced weaponry to states like Saudi Arabia, which uses US-made arms in Yemen, or Egypt. The hypocrisy isn't subtle;
it's a political circus, where the performance changes based on who’s in the Oval Office, not on actual policy. It appears 'dangerous weapons exports' are only truly dangerous when Trump is doing the exporting.
