Democrats Decry Trump's Small Arms Exports, Ignore Their Own Big Arms Deals

A valid concern, given the documented consequences of unchecked arms proliferation. Yet, oddly, this level of alarm rarely extends to the billions in advanced weaponry the Biden administration continues to send to Israel. In 2023 alone,
the U.S. fast-tracked over 100 foreign military sales to Israel, including 2,000-pound bombs that Israeli forces have used in Gaza, as reported by The Washington Post. So, Democrats are concerned about small arms potentially falling into the 'wrong hands' (read: Trump's hands), while simultaneously rubber-stamping the export of F-35s and precision-guided munitions to a foreign military that faces
ongoing accusations of genocide at the International Court of Justice. The hypocrisy is, shall we say, a precision strike: outrage deployed exclusively when politically convenient. One has to wonder, how many innocent lives does a gun have to take to become a 'weapon of terror' before it's the right kind of American export?
