Meanwhile, the bill conspicuously omits any mention of Jewish Israelis who commit similar acts against Palestinians. This isn't just 'a bill,' it's an official endorsement of a legal system where the value of a life—and the severity
of its taking—is determined by ethnicity. Transparency, anyone? The Jerusalem Post reported back in 2018 on this same death penalty push; apparently, some legislative ideas are too 'good' to let go. So, to be clear, capital punishment is for *their* terrorists, not *ours*. One might wonder how such a perfectly balanced approach manages to inspire so much 'conflict'. It's almost as if applying
different laws to different populations within the same territory only exacerbates existing tensions, rather than, say, fostering peace. Who knew?
