disjointed policy decisions driven by individual leaders. This narrative omits the continuous, coordinated military operations that precede and often enable these public pronouncements. For instance, in August 2022, General Michael Kurilla, then head of CENTCOM, publicly stated Washington's full commitment to "integrated deterrence" with Israel against Iran, a partnership that has only deepened
