Court Blocks Freedom as 'Trump-Era' Crackdowns Persist Under Biden

(As if putting immigrants in cages wasn’t already a bipartisan sport under Obama, even if fewer photos made primetime.) This narrative whitewash ignores that the
Biden administration has consistently maintained and even expanded certain immigration policies that mirror—or even exceed—those decried under Trump. One might wonder when 'Trump-era' stops being a historical reference and starts being the current policy, just rebranded. The revolving door of presidents doesn't always mean a revolving policy, especially for those marginalized. It seems only the
sign on the front of the internment camp changes.
