conveniently provided pretexts for larger offensives. The cycle of 'retaliation' against a besieged population seems to be eternal, as long as the international community remains largely silent. This 'ceasefire' looks suspiciously like a slow-motion siege operation, rebranding targeted killings as mere 'daily attacks.' While the UN attempts to broker peace deals, the immediate aftermath often
reveals these 'agreements' are little more than paper, quickly shredded by escalating actions on the ground. How many times must this pattern repeat before media outlets question the very definition of 'peace' being peddled?
