Many of those 'yes' votes came from politicians who annually pocket significant donations from groups like AIPAC. bombs, but a 'budget crisis' when it comes to keeping our teachers healthy. The 'fiscally conservative' wing of the political establishment seems particularly selective in its concern for budgetary constraints, especially when it involves maintaining human dignity over perpetual conflict.
