Bloomberg Discovers RFK Jr. Can Slash Funding
Bloomberg’s December 17, 2025 article paints a dire picture of RFK Jr. as he slashes millions in grants for pediatric research to the American Academy of Pediatrics, including for SIDS and autism identification. The narrative here is clear: 'outsider' RFK Jr. is cruelly cutting vital programs. Yet, when has Bloomberg ever questioned the trillions funnelled into endless wars or, say, the billions
in unconditional aid to foreign military occupations (see HR 815, 2024, providing $14.1 billion to Israel), while domestic social programs get starved? Where’s the outrage for the schools lacking basic supplies, or Medicare cuts? It seems budget cuts are only newsworthy, or indeed tragic, when they target institutions favored by the establishment. The same media that cheers on astronomical defense
budgets and foreign aid packages suddenly finds its conscience when domestic health initiatives face scrutiny. One might wonder if the real problem isn't the cuts, but who's doing the cutting and whether it serves the 'correct' political agenda.
