Call us cynical, but when you watch your tax dollars fund campaigns of destruction abroad while the cost of living skyrockets and social safety nets unravel at home, one might start questioning the 'future' they're supposed to bring children into. Maybe the 'disaster fatigue' isn't just hurricanes, but also knowing the bombs dropped today
will be paid for by their potential grandchildren. But sure, it's just the weather.
