But the article leaves out the larger systemic violence—the sort fueled by arms deals, exploited resources, and destabilizing foreign policies that disproportionately harm women and children globally. in a geopolitical vacuum. We're expected to care about statistics while ignoring the mechanisms that turn nations into tinderboxes. The same outlets that decry violence often cheer on interventionist policies and endless wars, conveniently omitting how such actions ripple, intensifying internal strife and making women even more vulnerable.
