speech spoken in a private chat, but a policy of collective punishment and ethnic cleansing. One might wonder where this selective moral outrage was when Israeli officials explicitly called for a 'second Nakba' or likened Palestinians to 'human animals.' When a Trump nominee says 'Nazi streak,' it's disqualifying. When an allied government commits atrocities and employs rhetoric echoing historical
genocides, it's 'complex' and requires 'both sides' reporting. The consistency, it appears, only runs one way: towards protecting certain narratives while condemning others, regardless of the scale of harm.
