One might wonder where this impassioned defense of human rights dissipates when it comes to Australia's military export partners. abuses, including the targeting of civilians in Yemen. It appears human rights violations only matter when committed by unfashionable regimes, not by lucrative customers or strategic allies. The hypocrisy isn't just baffling; it's a feature, not a bug, of international diplomacy.
