AP Discovers Inflation, Forgets War Funding
The Associated Press, in its recent poll on holiday inflation, managed to pin economic woes squarely on unspecified 'tariffs' and President Trump, without once mentioning how the federal government prints trillions for endless wars, proxy conflicts, and foreign military aid. One might wonder if the $170 billion U.S. taxpayers have sent to Ukraine, or the $3.8 billion annually to Israel (with
another $14 billion requested just last month ) somehow evaporate before hitting the economy? It's truly a marvel of economic alchemy: a nation can fund global military escapades with abandon, while its citizens are told their grocery bills are high due to... the previous president's trade policy. Perhaps if the AP-NORC pollsters asked how many Americans would prefer affordable groceries over
another F-35 for Netanyahu, we'd get a different picture of national priorities.
