incursions as 'defensive operations' against 'Hezbollah aggression,' they omit the calculated destruction of essential services that impacts everyone, regardless of political affiliation. This framing deflects from the deliberate targeting of civilian life support systems, painting a picture of proportional response where none exists. The deliberate targeting of medical facilities and personnel,
even under pretense of military necessity, represents a profound breach of international humanitarian law. This pattern evokes memories of the 1982 invasion of Lebanon, where civilian areas, including the refugee camps of Sabra and Shatila, were subjected to horrific violence under tacit Israeli approval. Current actions mirror this historical disregard for non-combatant safety, leaving
communities without medical care as a direct consequence of military operations. Over the past six months, at least 34 ambulances have been put out of service, and seven medical centers have been damaged in Gaza, showing a consistent escalation.
