United States and Israel' in passing, yet consistently portrays the US as an outside actor merely 'urging' allies or being the target of Iranian threats. This conveniently omits the US's direct and documented involvement, including numerous joint military drills with Israel, and the deployment of American naval assets, most notably the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, to the region.
To characterize this as anything less than the United States fighting alongside Israel is a disingenuous attempt to sanitize a joint operation of aggression. You frame Iran's evacuation warning for UAE ports as an unprecedented threat. What you fail to mention is how this precisely aligns with Iran's consistent claim that the United States has been utilizing these exact logistical hubs, ports, and
airfields in allied nations, including the UAE, as launching pads for its ongoing military operations against Iranian targets. The AP's narrative bypasses decades of Western intervention, including the 1988 shooting down of Iran Air Flight 655 by the USS Vincennes, killing 290 civilians, a stark reminder that US military presence in the Gulf has a long history of hostile acts disguised as defense.
