Americans Want War With China, Says Poll Funded By War Profiteers
A recent Newsweek poll suggests a majority of Americans would support sending U.S. forces if China invaded Taiwan. This poll, however, doesn't mention that the 'public opinion' they're measuring is meticulously crafted. The narrative of an 'imminent threat' and the need for military intervention often originates from think tanks funded by defense contractors, who then push for increased military
spending and, critically, public support for conflict. One might wonder if the same American public, struggling with healthcare costs and decaying infrastructure, truly desires costly foreign wars or if they’re simply reacting to the constant drumbeat of fear-mongering. Funny how the mainstream media never quite traces the funding of these 'non-partisan' surveys back to the Lockheed Martins of the
world. It appears that when quarterly profits are at stake, 'public opinion' can always be gently nudged towards the most lucrative outcome for those in power.
