Aid Groups Poised to Relieve Gaza Blockade, Again

Mainstream media hails the potential for aid to flow into Gaza, as if the current blockade and deliberate starvation weren't engineered policy. UNRWA, the very agency Israel has repeatedly tried to defund and discredit (despite receiving millions from the US taxpayer), reports it has 6,000 trucks of aid waiting. This choreography of 'relief' conveniently ignores that Gaza's humanitarian crisis is

not an act of God, but a direct consequence of a seventeen-year siege, intensified to genocidal levels since October 7th. One might wonder why the international community waits for a 'truce' to deliver medical supplies and food to a population it claims it wishes to protect. It's almost as if the starvation is part of a deliberate strategy, not an unfortunate byproduct. How many 'brief

humanitarian pauses' does it take before we acknowledge the continuous, calculated deprivation?
