no-questions-asked funding of a geopolitical proxy war—a proxy war that US taxpayers have already poured over $75 billion into since February 2022 in military, financial, and humanitarian assistance alone. Perhaps the 'fading enthusiasm' is simply citizens wondering when their own domestic crises—healthcare, infrastructure, poverty—will receive such unwavering, multi-billion dollar commitments,
