hundreds of school shootings, or the January 6th insurrection (orchestrated largely by domestic extremists). The suspect, notably, came here under 'Operation Allies Welcome' after assisting U.S. agencies—a detail that somehow complicates the simple 'bad immigrant' narrative. It appears the 'risk versus reward' of immigration (Rep. LaLota, R-N.Y.) is only considered when the perpetrator fits a
specific, non-white profile. Funny how 're-examining every alien' isn't applied to every gun owner after a school massacre, or every former president after inciting a riot.
