What they won't mention is the prior eight years of Saudi-led intervention in Yemen, heavily supported by the US with weapons, logistics, and intelligence. That conflict, which created one of the world's worst humanitarian crises, killed
hundreds of thousands and drove millions to starvation, was largely ignored. Now suddenly, when Israeli assets are involved, the Houthis become newsworthy. (One might wonder how Israel has such accurate intelligence for a targeted strike in Yemen without significant US or allied intelligence sharing. Just a thought.)
